What people are saying about “The Job I Need, Needs Me” seminar…
- Dear Mr. Thomas, Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Nadine L. Kinard. I am 40 years old, with a bachelors and reside in Lugoff, SC. We met on June 26th at the Marriott after your Columbia Seminar. Talk about being at the right place at the right time!! My situation right now is this after working at a place for ten years that I hated I stepped out in faith and followed my degree and dreams. Now I went from part-time to barely working on a part-time job due to hours. But I am not here to depress you. I am sharing with you how you have motivated me. Even though at times I felt as if it was all over, in my heart I knew the dreams and goals I set for myself were still alive. I just wanted to share that I gain so much from your seminar such as: 1. I was at the wrong job. 2. Reinvent yourself. 3. The job I need needs me. 4. I must create a new job. You\’re right your talent does not leave you and because sitting at home does not work. You inspired me that it is not over and inspite of my age, I am worthy of having everything that I dreamed of. I do have a vision and thanks to you I am going to walk in it. In my 5 areas of: writer, Radio, Public Speaking (in the area of being advocate & survivor of Domestic Violence), Public Relations, & Promotions. Because South Carolina has so much talent in this state that is over looked. Thank you Mr. Thomas for reawakening something inside of me to inspire me to go on. That I can make it I see myself walking in it. Keep sharing your word all over because there are so many down hearted people here who need your words of motivation.

- Thank you for a very uplifting and encouraging workshop last night at the Durham Main Library. This morning I drove over to the Whole Foods Market, “just to say hi” to the young woman in marketing who will be interviewing for the demo position. We had a conversation in the cafe, where I proceeded to ask her what I could do to make my interview better, referencing her having told me previously that I should contact her for some tips. She was very impressed by this and remarked to me that she liked my initiative. She has been swamped and told me she’d be in touch about setting up an interview for next week. I got home and had an email from her with an interview time set for next Friday, June 4th. So, I will prepare and keep my fingers crossed. Your workshop made me want to get out there.
- Barbara B. - What a fantastic seminar. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
- Walter B. - I left inspired. I have the confidence to go out and get the job I want, not just any job.
